about me

about me

I live in Eastbourne with my husband and our two beautiful girls.

I am passionate about helping others and sharing my expertise to encourage a happy, healthy outlook towards both body and mind. My training ethos is to bring enjoyment into fitness – I love to laugh with clients whilst encouraging and supporting them to achieve the best version of themselves.

Over the years I have worked for corporate gyms but always felt  I wanted to give more and go beyond the limitations of a gym environment. I love the outdoors and making the most of the beautiful open spaces we have on our doorstep in Eastbourne.

In 2012, I was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defects (holes in my heart). The following year I underwent open heart surgery to repair the holes. This was a pretty traumatic time in my life, but drawing on the positives, I threw myself into my cardiac rehab work.  I feel this experience has enabled me to treat my rehab clients with a deeper level of understanding and empathy and have trained in courses to deliver exercise for those who have long term neurological conditions and those who have suffered a stroke.

I feel extremely fortunate to help busy, everyday people achieve a healthy lifestyle – I hope we can exercise together soon too :)
